    Unanswered: Access system tables

    Hello,

My application I develop should retrieve a meta data of some database. That is if some user table has some columns, so how my application should retrieve names and ids of these columns?
I know that somewhere exist system table 'MSysColumns' but when I open a MDB file I can't see this table. I see 'MSysObjects', 'MSysReferences'... and other tables. Is table 'MSysColumns' accessible in application level?

    Thanks

yes it is, system tables just aren't visible in the database window to insulate the target demographic for MS Access from shooting themself in the foot.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
