    Unanswered: Setting backcolor

What's the trick to setting backcolor for textboxes in the detail section in datasheet view? I need to color code boxes by the numerical value. Thanks in advance.

It's called conditional formatting ... which may or may not work in datasheet view ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

Why do you say may or may not work? Have you had problems with it?
    Hope this helps!

I have done conditional formatting in Continuous forms but not in a datasheet view form ... So, cover my bases(ass) as it were ... There are other ways of doing this also ... But with even less optimism.

FYI, Conditional Formatting does work in Datasheet View.
    Hope this helps!

Thanks guys. I originally used vba code to set the color and was having the whole column set to that color. But I used the conditional formatting and it is working in Datasheet view. Thanks a ton.
