Business Analyst/Programmer Position
The candidates will need to participate in a phone screening and if this goes well they will interview with the client team.
Expected Start Date: Nov. 1
Funding available for 3 months so far, extension is expected. So position is slated to be for 3 months, but will go longer with funding approval.
Evaluates user requirements, writes technical specifications, develops code, tests, and implements new application software to satisfy new business requirements. Works with senior programmer analysts on more complex programming assignments or when working with new technologies.
Must be able to design solutions to complex business problems and formulate procedures for solutions while adhering to county standards. Experience with all phases of the System Development Life Cycle. Experience with Object Oriented Programming, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, or XML. Database experience using Structured Query Language, MS SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services, Oracle, stored procedures, or Entity-Relationship Diagrams. Experience with integrated development environments including MS Visual Studio 2005. Familiar with Windows Server family and basic networking knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment or independently with little supervision, as required.
Must be able to develop in ASP, ASP.NET 1.1, and ASP.NET 2.0.
