    Unanswered: Restore Problem

Production Operating system = Win NT
Test Operating system = Win NT

    Production DB2 version = 6.1 UDB
    Test DB2 version = 6.1 UDB

I want to restore database backup from Production to Test.

Right now there are already two existing two database in Test environment and this database is going to be third database, called as Production_To_Test

    I'm new to DB2.

Do I need to create table spaces under Test environment for Production_To_Test database before restoring the database ? ( I've full backup of the Production database)

    Please advise.

    No.

However, if the container paths from production cannot be created in test (e.g. in production containers are located on drive M:, which does not exist on the test system) you will have to use redirected restore and set tablespace containers during the restore.
