    Unanswered: SQL Server Clustering

In a clustered sql server environment having two Nodes, configured as Active/Active or Active/Passive, do I need to create the databases on both the Nodes?
I am not too sure about how to create databases in the clustered environment. Can somebody help..

In a clustered environment with two physical servers, you'll have three names... One for the first sever, one for the second, and one for the cluster. In a clustered environment, you really should forget (and your application should never know) that you have two nodes except when you are actually maintaining the cluster itself.

Create the database on the cluster instead of one of the physical nodes, and life will be good!
