Even more basic; do you have a frmForm?
    Hope this helps!

I have a form that is called frmStart. The form has 3 tabs, everyone with a subform in it. They show the same data with the difference that the first one shows the latest day, the second shows three latest day, and the third one the latest seven days of data.

I use requery on my subforms to update them when the user creates a new event.

The error message only appeares randomly and this puzzles me.

This is a nice error to track down. It's happened to me when I open another form (with the same recordsource table or it linked in somewhere with a field from the same table) and try updating when a form is already open with that recordsource table.
