    Unanswered: How Do You Interpert This Erd

    I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE PATIENT AND WARD CAN BE A MANY TO MANY RELATION. CAN A PETIENT BE IN MORE THAN ONE WARD AT THE SAME TIME? MAYBE IS SOTHING I DONT SEE OR IS THIS DESIGN WRONG.

    who claimed AT THE SAME TIME?
    patients can pass through N-wards reveiving M-prescriptions for X-drugs written by Y-doctors.
    if your db is to maintain history rather than the current status, you have a number of MM situations.
