Red face could not find object MSysDB

Help please does anyone know how to fix the above error "The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object MSysDB. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly. " I have tried to compact and repair but to no avail and also downloaded the compact and repair tool from Microsoft to no avail. The database will not open while this error is there. I am running Access 2003

Have you tried importing the objects into a new DB?

    Got my database fixed

Thanks for the feed back but I found a program called Nucleus Kernel Access Recovery. This is a fabulous program that recovers lost databases. It seems to part of a suite of program utilities available. If the databse can not be recovered you can FTP it to their site and they repair and recover it for you. Obviously the information gleaned in doing this allows them to build a better program. Great support too. I had my database back repaired within the hour.

...thats great, glad you found a solution.... how about posting the URL to their website here, so that anyine else with the same problme can easily track down the program.... it may also be a contender to be added to Teddy's Access FAQ at the head of this forum
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
