    Arrow Unanswered: Db2top on Linux/SUSE

    Team,

    db2top does not work on Linux/SUSE.
    We are running 64 Linux and 64 bit DB2 V8.1 Fp 9.

    Downloaded db2top from IBM both linux 32 and linux 64.

    Both does not work.

    are you running the DPF option (Distributed Partitioning Feature)?

    Yes with 20 partitions.

    The error we are getting is.

    dtop> ./db2top
    ./db2top: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.4' not found (required by ./db2top)
    dtop> ./db2top64
    ./db2top64: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.4' not found (required by ./db2top64)
    dtop> uname -a
    Linux XXXX 2.4.21-231-smp #1 SMP Mon Jun 28 14:13:46 UTC 2004 x86_64 unknown
    dtop> set LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/XXXX/home/XXXX/sqllib/lib32
    dtop> ./db2top64
    ./db2top64: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.4' not found (required by ./db2top64)

    Any help is appreciated.

    dtop

    according the message, something with library path
    or
    your library path is set LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/XXXX/home/XXXX/sqllib/lib32
    and the product needs lib64
    or you have lib64 and the product needs lib32
    check the current setting and product requirements
