    Unanswered: maintenance

    - runstats should be executed on regular interval
    - reorgchk and reorg if check indicates reorg is needed
    - backup (this is not part of maintenance)
    - space usage if dms tablespaces defined
    probably many more ...

    I think you r right.Still there may have some more things to do.
    Is there anybody know some more facts for table maintainance ?
    Could you pls share us?

    Maintenance Activities

    One of the maintenance activity is to bring down HWM for DMS tablespaces. This can be achieved in two ways.

    1. Offline re-org (for this you required 100% free space of table allocated size on your tablespace).
    2. Table data unload & load.

    After completion of any of the above steps,

    do update runstats for those tables.
