    Unanswered: Dynamic reconfiguration of ASA9 db server

    Is it possible to dynamically reconfigure the sybase ASA9.0.2 with a different option?
    For ex: I need to change the -os flag value[log size] dynamically without restarting sybase server.
    Also can someone clarify the default behaviour when -os flag is not specified and the preferable values for -os option.

    Regards
    Sathish

    You can issue an override for most swicthes that are part of the startup CFG.

    For the -os
    call sa_server_option('Request_level_log_size','<size in bytes>');

    Isn't this different from -os flag. http://www.ianywhere.com/developer/p...9/00000655.htm
    This says request_level_log_size is used to override -zs flag, which is used for request level logging, which looks to me different from -os flag.
