why do you need an entity PLAYS? I dont understand what its meant to store

I'd of thought that the win / loose / draw was dervied from the score which yiu are identifying as part of matches

I would have expected two reraltionships beteween teams and matches (as you have correctly) identified that there are 2 teams comprising a match. You may have already catered for that but Im not sure of your ER diagrammign style)

"points for" is arguably derived data, after all you know what the score was, so you should know what the points ascribed to that result were

you may need another element to identify if there was a result... its possible that a game may be either rescheduled, or abandoned or forfitted.

Im assuming that coursework isnt worried about where the game was played (ie you dont need to no the ground / pitch no), nor any other contact details for players and or coaches (eg telephone numbers, email etc)

nor is there any information on the referee / officials
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
