Wink Unanswered: Sample database - Book library?

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but - does anyone know where I could find an Access database application for a library? It is a very small church library. The downloadable template on is a little too basic and does not allow for books to be checked out.

    Thanks in advance,

Haven't even looked at this one from Microsoft, but it is specifically for lending libraries/tracking who has borrowed what.
    Hope this helps!

The problem with making anything that fools are so darn ingenious!

Does it need to be MS Access?

Working for a non-profit with an extensive collection of books and music, I found ResourceMate ( ) which met most of our needs for less than $300. Church lending libraries are their target audience.

It's a FoxPro db designed mostly for one workstation. They offer a free trial version, if you want to get the "look and feel" of checking books in and out and reserving them.

It was cheaper for us to buy a copy than to duplicate the functionality in Access.
