Red face Unanswered: java.sql.SQLException: I/O Error: SSO Failed: Native SSPI library not loaded.

    Hi,

I tried to connect to SQLServer from a java application using jTDS driver jars, with Windows authentication. The following error is thrown,

    Code:
java.sql.SQLException: I/O Error: SSO Failed: Native SSPI library not loaded. Check the java.library.path system property.
From the above error i realised that the ntlmauth.dll is to be loaded to path. I compiled and run the application as follows,

    java -Djava.library.path=<dll_lib_path>

still i get the same error,

any suggestions to overcome this error.

    regards,
    Shefu

You might need to get native drivers from Sourceforge to work with Windows authentication.

    Found solution on another site

Copy the file 'jtds-1.2.2-dist\x86\SSO\ntlmauth.dll' from the unzipped JTDS --> <SQL Developer Home>\jdk\jre\bin. Then restart SQL Developer.
