Unanswered: Set value from an unbound field to bound field

I am using an unbound field to make a simple calculation. However, I want the calculated value stored in a bound field also located on the form. The person keying data will not be allowed to give either filed focus. Any ideas? Or a better method?

    1. What's your rational behind storing your calculated value? It is generally considered a no-no to store derived data, but there are a few valid scenarios.
    2. How are you creating your calculated data to begin with? How does that data make it to your unbound field currently?
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    You are correct but

I am only a novice and don't know all the database architectural rules. My reasons for storing calculated data is because it will be easire for other novice users to build reports and queries at some point in the future. The calculation is simply made by adding 2 fields from a sub-form. Thanks for your help.
