Unanswered: how do i makke a Digital Certificate for LAN

I have written a small package for a client who wants to install it on several workstations that do not have full access, or even office. I used the package wizard and that works fine, but when the package comes up, we get the security warning. The client does not want to run at minimum security, and does not want to install office on all his workstations, and does not want to see this message every time. I made a private certificate on the workstation that DOES have office, and that works fine... what i would like to know is how to make a private certificate that will work for the entire private network, without having to register with an agency.

You either need to sign it for each individual machine or you would have to run your own CA, which might be more overhead then you're looking for.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
