    Question Unanswered: Reports - Hiding Fields

    Hi All, I have a report that has text fields that show a value of "n/a" in the database, however I'd like to not show them on my report, just have them blank. In the design mode on my report, can I write code to not show the "n/a" values. Thanks

    Chris

    Nope. You can do it with some VBA code ... In the Detail_Format section put something like:

    If MyTextbox="N/A" then
    MyTextbox.Visible=False
    else
    MyTextbox.Visible=True
    endif
    Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

    Another method is in the recordsource for your report, use an expression for the field: i.e. (add a column with: ) MyFieldNameExpression: iif([MyFieldName] = "N/A","",[MyFieldName]). Then just use MyFieldNameExpression in your report.
