    Unanswered: Why do I get #Name? in my unbound text box ?

    Dear All, my DB was working all fine but today I copied the db and pasted it on a different computer and since then I get this #Name? in my unbound text boxes where dates should be entered for searching purposes.

    Also, on my startup form I have this code on a lable to bring the Day, date, time and year
    =Format(Now(),"dddd"", ""mmm d yyyy"", ""hh:nn:ss ampm")
    I dont know why it is not now working on this new computer. Any help would be much appreciated.

    The first thing to check when a moved db doesn't work on the new machine is the references. Go into the VB code editor then Tools > References and see if anything is marked as missing. If so, uncheck then reselect it.
    Hope this helps!

    Try just typing: = now
    See whether you still get the error?

    HI, although I have not done anything else or changed anything for some VERY strange reasons, it is working this morning. Thank you for your advices.
