Unanswered: Virtual memory error on IQ 12.6

I have encountered the following error when attempting to run a stored proc...
It appears to happen when referencing a global temporary table

    Msg 21, Level 14, State 0:
ASA Error -1006042: All available virtual memory has been used; allocation cancelled: [Extra info: 20000000]
    -- (hos_mem.cxx 348)

I can simulate the error by just typing
    Code:
    1> select * into #foo3 from LogsTemp where 1=0
    2> go
    Msg 21, Level 14, State 0:
ASA Error -1006042: All available virtual memory has been used; allocation cancelled: [Extra info: 20160000]
    -- (hos_mem.cxx 348)
The LogsTemp table has 33 columns, the largest being varchar(255).

Can anyone shed any light on this error and any diagnostics that can be performed?

Sybase has been informed of the error.

IQ memory handling needs a bit of getting used to. It has a Virtual memory that is required by the catalog store controlled by -c or -cl, -ch and heap memory for MAIN/TEMP caches controlled by -iqmc and -iqtc.

You just need to bump up the catalog cache for this one. A good size would anything between 500MB - 1GB
