    Hi Marcus_A

    Thank you for quick response

If it comes from OS why IBM recomended to install fix pack 14 to react to
Daylight Saving Time (DST) in advance. according your comment we need just a patch in OS level and fix the problem

    please advise

My understanding is that the fixpack updates the java JDK and only affects things that use java, such as the Control Center (the admin server uses the JDK on the server side), java SP's, etc.

IBM also supplies a fix to the old JDK's if you don't want to install fixpack 14, or if you don't want install the latest Java code.

    Sorry the following site:

    http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...=utf-8&lang=en

Note: on DB2 V8 Unix and Linux, JDK is not shipped in its
fixpak, hence DB2 FixPak 14 will not patch the JDK that is
already on the system. You should make sure the JDK is DST
compatible or update the Java time zone data using the Java
    TimeZone Update Utility.
(refer URL mentioned in the workaround section.)
    What do you think?
