    Unanswered: ORA-02291: integrity constraint

I am trying to insert a row into a M:M table and I am getting the error,
    ORA-02291: integrity constraint.
    This is:

Cause: A foreign key value has no matching primary key value.
Action: Delete the foreign key or add a matching primary key.

Now, the keys in the insert table are valid. But Oracle thinks they are not.
How can I check how Oracle links the columns in the M:M table back to other tables? Or adjust them?

What commands can I issue to get information on this?

    1. Lookup the F-constraints on the table
    2. Lookup what columns are constrained to what tables.
    3. Look on those tables for the parents.
    4. If parents not there then add as needed
