    Unanswered: Decimal in a field

    Hi everyone,

I hate to post a second question in one day. I feel so guilty.

Is there an easy way to remove the decimal in an text/number field.

    Example:

The number will always be followed with a decimal and 2 numbers.

    123.45 should be 12345
    789.00 should be 78900

I was thinking of taking an answer I got from an earlier post to use a left and right function and than concatenate it.

I don't think that is the best way but that's what I came up with. If anyone have another method I would love to hear about it.

    Thanking you in advance!!

What is the data type in the table; text or number? If text, which it sounds like:

    Replace(FieldName, ".", "")

if this is indeed a decimal type field, in your table, set the decimal places to 0
