    Smile Unanswered: DB2 configuration

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell me how DB2 gets configured in Unix.i mean ,what are the files of unix that needs to be configured for proper communication with DB2.Can anyone tell me the answer of the above question at the earliest....

    what do you mean by files ?
    the file that can be used : /etc/services
    this file keeps the port on which the instance is listening
    this is in dbm cfg SVCENAME
    db2 get dbm cfg | grep SVCENAME
    other files are not needed immediatly

    Thanks for ur information.Is there any manual which guides regarding proper configuration of DB2 in UNIX.could u please send me the corresponding link which will be very helpfull...
