    Unanswered: IN function. The size?

This might be a stupid question, but I need an answer to this ASAP.
In the IN statement in the where clause, is there a limited number of values I can pass in?

    Example:
    SELECT *
    FROM myTable
    WHERE myField IN (1,2,3,4,5,6,etc)

Is there a certail number of values that can be passed into IN?

I don't know if I made this question clear.

Please let me know and thanks in advance.

    there is no limit.

however you might consider doing things differently if you have lots of values - usually an inner join will be faster if it's indexed properly.
