    Unanswered: How to get total

I have a question re:getting the average in my report.
Here's how my report look like:

    Product Name---Stocks---Sold---%Sold----- Formula
    Shampoo-------67--------25----37.31%-----(25/67)
    Soap-----------73--------29----39.73%-----(29/73)
    Toothpaste-----81--------36----44.44%-----(36/81)
    ---------------------------------------------------
    Total----------221--------90----40.72%-----(90/221)
But what I want is to get the average of the 3 %sold.
40.72/3 = 40.49%. but i can't do this, there's an error in my formula. the error is "cannot be summarized". how can i make this kind of computation?
what should be the syntax in my formula. i can't use the insert summary command, bcoz the option is missing.

    thanks a lot.

Let me see what your formula looks like. I know you can specify average of a field through the insert summary selection; this wouldn't require writing a formula. After which you could place the summary average in you report footer.

    hi,
the option "insert summary" is missing. i tried creating a formula to get the average of all the subtotals but this error "this field cannot be summarized" appears.
