It's pretty easy to mimic an Avery label setup in Access. All you need to do is to create an Access report that has the detail section set to the same dimensions as the label. Then make sure there is no Report Header/Footer or Page Header/Footer. Then everything else is in Page Setup.
In File/Page Setup go to the Columns tab. Make the column size same as detail, columns equal to the number of labels across the page (usually 2), then change the row and column spacing to accomodate for any space between labels (which there usually isn't any).
Finally change your margins (left, right, top, bottom) to account for the space around the outside of all the labels.
