Post What should I read first?

Hi there, I just registered at this site this week.

Apologies for being lazy, but I just thought I'd ask if someone could point me to any particularly relevant threads that I should check out first, so I can get up to speed here?

    Thank you, Michael

    Lol!

In answer to your question Michael - just pick a forum that you have interest in or work in...
I generally flop about in the Microsoft SQL Sever and Microsoft Access forums - because it's what I know/use.

    Welcome to the forum!

the reason i asked if he was a person or a bot is because he first posted in the Job Opportunities forum

we've had a whole slew of bad spam being posted in the Job Opportunities forum (and it's probably mostly bot-driven)

none of which spam you regular punters would have seen, because we mods are pretty adept at removing it pronto

however, this one was an apparently innocuous post, which is why i left it alone (but i did move it to the appropriate forum for a first post -- i mean, why would someone new to our forums post first in the Job Opportunities forum???)

now let's see if "michael" has his email notification turned on and actually replies to this
