    Unanswered: DB2 diag.log error

    Hi all,

    We are using the DB2 V8.1 and OS-AIX 5.2 . I could see the following error in db2diag.log.

    PID:1613978(db2fmp32 (idle) 0) TID:1 Appid:none
    common communication sqlccipcdarihandshake Probe:4

    DIA8501C A buffer pool logic error has occurred.
    ZRC=0x870F0002M.

    What may the cause of the error....

    Are you sure you have the correct ZRC?

    Code:
    db2diag -rc 0x870F0002M
    ERROR: ../sqz/sqlzwhatisrc.C: '0x870F0002M' is not a known ZRC value

    two scenario's,

    * It may occur beacuse of IPC shared memory needs to be released.
    - You can clean using ipclean
    * And sometimes db2stop force command also creates same error. If it's same scenario no need to worry
    - probably above message because of db2stop force.
