Unanswered: My database will not open????? Help!!!

We use a work order in our office. It has worked fine for 10 monthes. All of the sudden today, no one can access the file. There are 4 databases on the computer that has the file. This is the only database no one can access.

    The message is:

Microsoft Access can't find the database file
    '\\OurCompany\SharedDocs\WorkOrder.mdb.'
Make sure you entered the correct path and file name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It doesn't look like a problem with the DB...
looks like that network path is down. Can you
    see the file using explorer?

We are a small company. We open the file using My Network Places. To answer your question, I tried to open the file using Windows Explorer with no luck.

So.... what you're saying is that when you click on the icon (not a shortcut)
for the database in the right folder, it says that the file isn't really there.

    Very strange...

On the computer where the file is, it opens fine. Anyone else trying to access it, it will not open.

So you click a shortcut on your local machine to run this application?

If so: Right click, properties - check the filepath.

    OK, now we're getting somewhere.

Go to explorer on one of the computers that it won't open from.
Try to navigate to the folder \\OurCompany\SharedDocs\

My guess is you won't find it. The other pc's aren't "talking" with the
    pc containing the DB.

I have done this with no luck. If they are not talking, why would 3 other Microsoft Databases open and work just fine?

    georgev,
    The file path is correct.

I'm just telling you the first thing I would check if I was getting that error message. Is it possible that someone changed the permissions on that file?
