Lightbulb Unanswered: task center getting called twice

    DB2 8.2.7
    windows 2000

i have offline backup scheduled in task center at 2 AM.
however many time i have observed that task center calls the scheduled task twice .
last night there were two call 1st at 2:00:02 and 2nd at 2:00:06 (which of-course failed as SQL1035N The database is currently in use. SQLSTATE=57019).

similarly i have a simple os script which renames db2diag at 11:58 PM. However last night it also got renamed twice
    db2diag20070207.log,
    db2diag20070208.log

Has anyone experiencecd same. Is this a bug??

I am assuming that you only have the one script each for backup and renaming the db2diag.log file. So I would have to guess that maybe you have 2 DB2 admin servers running. If that is not the case, you should open a PMR with DB2.

Check the processes on the server. I am not sure the name of the DB2 admin process on windows. It might be the same as on linux which is db2dasrrm.
