    Exporting using expdp on 10g 10.2.0.1 .... using these parameters ..

    expdp username/password@db dumpfile=oracle_dir:export.exp nologfile=y full=y

    problem is that it isn't exporting data for all tables... Any ideas what would be causing it to not export all data? if I use exp, it works... but not with expdp

    thanks

    if you say so, but you provide us no clues so how are we supposed to help you?
    Exactly what does it do?

    While you neglect to specify OS name & version the syntax below is nothing I recognize.
    dumpfile=oracle_dir:export.exp

    expdp

    Sorry for the lack of info... it is on linux redhat 2.6.9-42.0.8.ELsmp ... while exporting it will tell me

    exported "USER"."TABLE_NAME" 0 KB 0 rows
    when using

    expdp username/password@db dumpfile=oracle_dir:export.exp nologfile=y full=y

    oracle_dir is a directory object created in the 10g db.

    there is data in the table... but for some reason it isn't being exported....

    Additional clues may be available if you LOG=pump.log
