Unanswered: Get address book from Lotus Notes

Would anyone have the code to retrieve an address book from Lotus Notes. I would like to code it in VBA and to import all addresses in a table.

    thanks

Without knowing what Lotus notes is my advice can only be theoretical.

Is there a specific file used my Lotus Notes that contains all this information (eg *.txt etc).

If so then yes, I might be able to help.

You'll need the lotus notes SDK to get the dll to use ... And 1 other thing: Make certain to get the RIGHT version ... Lotus' SDK and Notes are notorious for having a moving target with respect to it programming interface and database structures ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

    georgev,

yes, it is a file and with the help of the network admin I might be able to know where I can access it. The question is..will they let me access it?

    M Owen,

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a lot of fun

    Question the second!

What kind of file is this? Is it a delimited text file (try opening it in notepad and see what it looks like).
