Unanswered: JSP or PHP for connecting to Oracle

    Hi everyone.

My client is very pro JSP; however, I would prefer to use PHP to connect to an Oracle DB, as I am more familiar with it. What advantages, if any, does JSP offer over PHP, specifically with regard to connecting to an Oracle DB?

    Thanks.

Oracle does NOT care (or typically know) about the programming language used by the client & why should it.
SQL is SQL & that is all the database really knows or cares about.
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
