Unanswered: Stored procedure returning multiple records

    Hi All,

I'm using a stored procedure which returns multiple records. I Want to write these records to a temporary table. How can I do this?

My procedure call is as follows
    Code:
     exec RetrieveDataRecords param1,param2
    Any help would be appreciated.

    THanks,
    Sumesh

    select * from RetrieveDataRecords(param1,param2)

Same company different product can do above SQL(ASAQLANYWHERE)
Store Procedure can behave as table (yes can return many records)
so that it's not require for you to make temporary table ?

But I don't know about ASE but SQLServer2K can't do.

create the temporary table with all fields such that returned by the procedure and then try the below,

    insert #temp
    exec sp_procedurename proc1,proc2
