Unanswered: db2atld - Deadlock on table

    Hi ,

Am trying to load a table with a sequential file using the db2atld command.
Am getting an error message as follows ,

SQL0911N The current transaction has been rolled back because of a deadlock or timeout. Reason code "68". SQLSTATE=40001

    Note :

1.Only I am using this target table and only for loading using this command.
2.Number of records to be loaded is 2 million.
3.I had already tested for successful load of 1000 rows where with 2 million ,this error message pops up.

    Suggestions please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Shanmugapriya

    Shanmugapriya,

I would suggest that you take a snapshot or use db2pd (link below) to identify the culprit ..

BTW, db2atld has been discontinued in DB2 9. Therefore, you may want to consider to use LOAD instead of db2atld.
