Unanswered: Replacing Repeated Values from recrods?

Attaching a sample mdb file. I have TABLE1, TABLE2 and QUERY1, QUERY2 in my mdb file.

I want Query1 Value 4 once in Query2. It should not be repeated again with [SBNO] values 5 time.

Value 4 in Query 2 shows with only 1st record and remaing 5 records shows 0 value instead of 4.

How is it possible.? Can anyone help me.

    Regards.

It's called normalizing your tables ... Perhaps you might need to make a primary key ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

I'll start by saying I agree with M Owen. You have some work to do on your database, unless you are showing us too little info and we're jumping to the wrong conclusion.

However, here is a working solution to your problem....
    I added a primary key to table1, changed query2, and added query3
Also added some more data, just for testing purposes.
