    Unanswered: date problems..

how can i update my date.. its llike this.. i made a mistake making the year the day of my date..

    eg..

Oct-09 = 10/09/2007 (the year 2007 is assigned by access because i have no year field, but the year is really 09=2009)

which is supposed to be 10/1/2009 (lets just say that i dont need the day field so i just put 1 in there)

is there an easier way to update this dates because they are too many and i cant do it manually again.. /sob..

If all your dates need to change from 2007 to 2009, could you use an update query to add 730 (days) to your date field? The date would then become the 9th day of the same month, 2 years later. Or use 722 days to make them the first day. (Won't account for leap year)

Why not just add 2 years, rather than days. Adding two years does account for leap year.

I was going to say - why not simply add the 2 years?
