    Unanswered: 1.asp to 2.asp back to 1.asp (which must refresh)

    Hi again

    Still working on this survey thing, seems to be every couple of days I am getting stuck. Hope someone can help.

    I have a view survey page 1.asp that loads from a db, I can now press a button to send invite or reminder emails which opens a confirmation page 2.asp (does the emailing and updates the db to say that its sent). I have a back button which needs to refresh 1.asp when it opens otherwise the emails may be resent.

    Doh, seems to be trickier than I thought. I have searched both VBSCRIPT and JavaScript for a solution that works and can't figure one out. Now's your chance to jump in.....

    Heres something I maybe able to adapt (sry from another forum )

    Solved

    Hi

    I have finally found something that works, and refreshes the page when the back button is clicked. I just added this code onto the end.

    <input type="hidden" id="refreshed" value="no">
    <script type="text/javascript">
    onload=function(){
    var e=document.getElementById("refreshed");
    if(e.value=="no")e.value="yes";
    else{e.value="no";location.reload();}
    }
    </script>
