    Unanswered: adodb and mysql_real_escape_string

    Hi everybody,

    I've been trying to use adodb and the php function mysql_real_escape_string(), but im having some troubles...

    the code that i've got is this:

    PHP Code:

    // query
    $qFoo sprintf("SELECT * FROM foobar WHERE foo LIKE '%s' ORDER BY foo LIMIT 0, '%d'",
    mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['xico']),
    mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['xica']));

    $qrFoo $dbcon->Execute($qFoo);
    but all i get is:

    Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() [function.mysql-real-escape-string]: Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in D:\fa\fe\fi\fo\fu\fafefifofu.php on line 37

    thanks for any help

    This function requires a current connection to a mysql server. If there is not a current connection, it attempts to open one -

    link_identifier
    The MySQL connection. If the link identifier is not specified, the last link opened by mysql_connect() is assumed. If no such link is found, it will try to create one as if mysql_connect() was called with no arguments. If by chance no connection is found or established, an E_WARNING level warning is generated.
