    Unanswered: Averaging a column question

    Okay - here's my situation.

    I have 5 columns (see attachment)
    1. ticket #
    2. Open date
    3. Closed date
    4. Formula ( =DAYS360)
    5. Formula (=IF(D1643<0,0,D1643) Because if it's a month like Feb. it was give a negative number and we would rather round off negatives as zero.
    At the bottom of column 5 there is an AVERAGE formula.

    What I need to accomplish:
    We are basing averages on count of days, however, I need to exclude zeros (or tickets that are opened and closed within the same day as these are typically password and ID resets). So basically only averaging numbers in column 5 that are greater than 1. Any suggestions?

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Here is my Excel solution showing the averaging of six numbers in a column where the value must be greater than one.
    1
    1
    5
    4
    10
    2
    21 =SUMIF(A$1:A$6,">1")
    4 =COUNTIF(A$1:A$6,">1")
    5.25 A7/A8 = Average if > 1

    Thanks!

    Jerry,

    Thanks for the response - AVERAGE IF is exactly what I was looking for.
