Unanswered: adding metadata on objects, columns

In SQL Server, you can add metadata to objects, columns, parameters, etc in the form of extended properties.

Is there a similar beast in Sybase? I've done the prerequisite google search and come up with nothing.

EDIT: I am using ASE 15.0

Sybase does not provide metadata services in ASE. If you use Power Designer, you can then specify extended properties against the schema objects however this will only remain at the model level.

    Thanks for the info.

what do you mean by stored at the "model level"? that is, are these extended properties stored in a table on the server somewhere? or are they stored in some file created by power designer?
