Unhappy Unanswered: Converting Sybase to Oracle

I know this is a very broad question but.... I am a Sybase DBA...don't know that much about Oracle... I was a DB2 DBA for 1.5 years and I know the structure of DB2 and Oracle are pretty similar. Now the question. One of my applications is going to convert from Sybase to Oracle 10g. Both are on HP/UX. We are using 2K pages in Sybase and we will be using 8K pages in Oracle. What kind of things do I need to consider when converting? I know the 2K to 8K pages will require more space. What about memory, configuration options, etc..... anything that I might not be thinking about with my limited knowledge of Oracle?

Thanks for any help you can give. I also posted this on the Sybase board.
