Unanswered: Oracle 9i (9.0.1) install hangs on AIX 4.3

    Greetings,
I am installing oracle 9.0.1, on an IBM F50 server with AIX 4.3.
After I put in my file locations in the OUI, it hangs at 40% of loading product info. What could be causing this? What do I need to do to fix it?
My only thought is that the CD may be bad. Any advice would be gratefull.
    Thanks
    Jim

Forgive me, but I just HAVE to ask this question.
Why are you installing a desupported & BUG riddled version of Oracle?
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

Because that is the version I have on hand. I did just email the guy in charge of which version we have to see if he has a more recent version for me to have.

Here is what I did to start the install.
    Login in as root
    Startx
    Insert cd into cdrom.
    Mount the cd. “mount –r –v cdrfs /dev/cd0 /cdrom”
    Login in as oracle
    Start the installer /cdrom/runInstaller
The OUI comes up, I enter file locations and press next. It then hangs.
