    Unanswered: How to calculate total memory assigned to instance?

    Hello Everybody,

    We are on db2 8.1.4 on solaris 9. Can anybody tell me how to calculate total memory assigned to a particular instance.

    you can look for db2mtrk tool to get memory status

    thanks for the response..

    i did the following

    db2mtrk -i -p -w -d -v

    but is there any other way to find out.

    Instance_memory is sum of
    mon_heap_sz + Audit_buffer_sz +FCM_NUM_BUFFERS+ Approx. 10% overhead

    you can see all the values set from
    get dbm cfg show detail
