Unanswered: SSRS 2000 data not refreshing in report

    Good day,

I have a SSRS 2000 report that when I view the report data does not refresh until I press the refresh data button in the report. Clearly this can't be right and to expect users to press the refresh button every single time is also rediculous.

HAs anyone had this problem before and know what to do.

    Please help.

    Thanks

Check the properties page for the report (while logged into the Report Manager application). Select the Execution tab. Verify that the "Always run this report with the most recent data" button is checked. Also verify that the "Do not cache temporary copies of this report" button is checked.

    Hi hmscott,

My report had all that you suggested.
I managed to find the solution on another site, I needed to add &rs:ClearSession=True in the url.

Thanks for posting your solution. That's a new one on me (as most everything with SQL-RS is at this point) and a good one to keep an eye on.
