I've bought the books, but I'm waiting until I finish my 10g upgrade before starting in on SQL 2005.

MCITP: Database Administrator and MCITP: Database Developer. Yup, got them. Most of the exam passed during the beta period

Well... The MCTS and MCITP: Database Administrator was pretty much a walk in the park, at least I think so. I found the development exams a bit tougher, especially 70-442, but that's most likely since I'm not a .NET developer. 70-442 also covers ADO.NET with MARS.

after passing a few of those MS tests, they are pretty easy and i have found they are in no way indicative of truly talented dba's. I have worked with someone who framed and displayed their MCDBA and their MCSD at work and that person was the most computer illiterate developer\dba I ever worked with.
“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.
