is there some method to use stored procedure results like a table in subselect or at least to insert it into temp table?

    Hi,
create a temporary table such that the columns returned fron the stored procedure and the columns in the temporary table are the same.

    ex: create table #temp(a int, b varchar(20))

    insert into #temp
    exec sp_procedure1

where sp_procedure1 is the procedure which gives the result set with two columns of type int and varchar.. i am not sure whether this works in sybase 12.5.x..
