Unanswered: Combo Box: How to get the selected item information?

    Hi,

I know and use some VBA code in Access database. In Access, I can get the selected item in the combo box by using the Column(i) property of the combo box object.

I am learning Visual Basic 2005 and want to retrieve the information for the selected item in the combo box. The datasource of the combo box is a table from a data source. The Value Item and Display Item are defined as the ID and the Name of the table. Is there a similar way in Visual Basic to get other information on other columns associated with the selected ID?

    Thank you,

    ThiNhan

Disregard. I'm wrong. I thought you could also do a me.mycomboboxname.column(i) in vb the same as Access. I did it some way but it's been a while since I've done vb.
