What does "rebuilding index" mean in your context? The message you show is not a DB2 message but rather wrapped by some other component/software.

Have a look at DB2 message SQL0104 and insert the message tokens to understand it better. Maybe something is wrong with your comments at the beginning of some SQL statement?

You will have to explain which tool you are using and where you click "Finish". DB2 doesn't have a GUI - but it comes with some tools to administer it. (It's just that the mentioned tools don't raise such errors as above.)

Same as above: you have a syntax problem in your SQL statements.

Note that the SQL standard says that a double-dash (--) initiates a comment. DB2 honors that. I'm not sure on the support of /* ... */ style comments in DB2.

    Again, which plugin?

    DB@ error:
sql code -443, sqlstate 38553, sqlerrmc:
    SYSIBM.SQLTABLES;TABLES;SYSIBM:CLI:-805
That is error SQL0805. A package was not found. You should refer to the document of your application (the eclipse plugin) to figure out which configuration steps it requires.
