    I try tr a-z A-Z

    Code:
    $echo "dLKJFDKLJKLjfhksajdhk" | tr a-z A-Z
    DLKJFDKLJKLJFHKSAJDHK
    Work fine.

It probably depends on the version of tr. GNU tr works just fine

"It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.
